Decarbonisation is a critical step for businesses and supply chains that want to reduce their carbon emissions. The simple way of looking at decarbonisation is "electrifying everything". Electrification is unfortunately not the silver bullet and decarbonisation may be more difficult than it originally appears.
The first step in a decarbonisation journey is to track and report carbon emissions. You need to know how large your emissions footprint is before trying to reduce it. We can use our bespoke digital tool (MET) to set emissons boundarires and track carbon emissions from your operations and your supply chain.
The next step is to reduce emissions. Reducing emissions requires a strategy to ensure that actions are complementary and reinforce one-another rather than conflicting.
