LOGISTICS TECHNOLOGY UNLOCKED

Foresion assists businesses to extract the highest value from their data and technology tools and provide decarbonisation guidance

How Foresion Can Help

Data is often seen as the new gold yet it is perhaps just as often unseen, unaudited and unverified. Business and supply chain decisions made based can therefore be uninformed, poorly informed or misingformed.

Data can transform your business and supply chain operations if properly used. We provide data assurance services to help you understand your data's quality and usefulness and cleanse data to eliminate noise.

Foresion use business intelligence tools and advanced analytics to help improve your operational efficiency and effectiveness, reduce costs and lead times.

Supply chains are complex, involve multiple stakeholders with competing interests and are affected a wide range of factors or events occurring worldwide. Making sense of the genuine opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness or costs can be challenging.

We can help chart a course in turbulent waters by mapping potential opportunities and challenges in your supply chain, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and identifying areas for efficiency improvements, particularly focusing on logistics, to successfully navigate your business through today's turbulent environment.

Complying with sustainability reporting requirements is challenging, especially in today's changing legislative and regulatory environment.

We support your compliance needs whether with regards to the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) requirements, the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) or the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Sustainability Disclosure Standards.

Whether you need to assess climate-related risks and opportunities, assess business and supply chain risks, develop strategies to adapt to and mitigate climate-related consequences on your business, set emissions reduction targets, Foresion can help.

Decarbonisation is a critical step for businesses and supply chains that want to reduce their carbon emissions. The simple way of looking at decarbonisation is "electrifying everything". Electrification is unfortunately not the silver bullet and decarbonisation may be more difficult than it originally appears.

The first step in a decarbonisation journey is to track and report carbon emissions. You need to know how large your emissions footprint is before trying to reduce it. We can use our bespoke digital tool (MET) to set emissons boundarires and track carbon emissions from your operations and your supply chain.

The next step is to reduce emissions. Reducing emissions requires a strategy to ensure that actions are complementary and reinforce one-another rather than conflicting. The emissions reduction strategy also explores and evaluates a wide range of options to reduce emissions that may be less disruptive than electrification.

Key Capabilities

Data Analytics &

Business Intelligence

Organisations produce a wealth of data during their operations. Increasingly these data are analysed to extract insights. However, in many organisations, data gathers dust on digital shelves.

We use analytics combined with our expertise to delve into organisational data to extract patterns and insights from track and trace data (RFID, GPS, eDockets) to improve logistics efficiency and extract insights to help organisations better understand where problems arise, why and how best to address these issues.

Simulation Modeling

Modern supply chains are complex and geographically dispersed. Often, this means that supply chain visibility into the furthest links of the chain is lacking. Limited visibility increases the uncertainty around decisions for capital expeniture, equipment purchase or asset management.

Simulation modeling creates a digital twin of operations to gauge the impact of investments without the capital spend. We use simulation to model the impact of different alternatives before the decision to build, buy, sell or reposition is made to inform decision-makers of potential outcomes and consequences.

Emissions Reporting

and Reduction

Emissions tracking and reduction are essential components of corporate responsibility and sustainability. Yet, the journey to reduce the emissions profile of operations is often fraught with complexities.

Foresion's specialised services aim to streamline emissions reporting and compliance offering a systematic and efficient approach to monitor and assess carbon footprints. By leveraging advanced technologies and data analytics, Foresion enables businesses to gain a nuanced understanding of their emissions sources and patterns.

Participatory Design

Managing change is rarely easy. Different collaborating organisations and staff have different business objectives, incentives and interests. When change ocurrs, these become more evident and can delay or even completely derail projects.

Foresion facilitates a collective exploration of ideas and perspectives. This participatory process ensures that different perspectives contribute to the creation of solutions, fostering a sense of ownership and commitment among employees.

Advancing Strategy

In an era of rapid advancements in technology and carbon emissions the key to sustainable business success lies in developing a comprehensive vision rooted in data-driven insights. The ability to harness and interpret relevant data is paramount in shaping a forward-thinking strategy.

Foresion approach goes beyond traditional vision statements, towards crafting  roadmaps that are not only aspirational but also grounded in the realities of the business landscape. The result is a strategic vision that but actively drives impactful business actions, positioning our clients at the forefront of innovation and resilience in their respective markets.

What Our Clients Say

Tailored Tools

MET

Measuring and reporting carbon emissions can be daunting. What are scope 3 emissions? How far into the supply chain should I look? What method is best for estimating emissions?

MET is a robust, intuitive tool that automatically processes logistics and operations data, integrating with business intelligence software to provide a detailed snapshot of supply chains emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 of the GHG protocol guidance.

MET streamlines emission reporting, improves emissions tracking and compliance with the latest ASRS standards and legislation as well as helping to identify measures to reduce emissions, operational costs and evaluate effectiveness.

BLST

How many trucks do you need for your operation? What happens if the trucks run into congestion? How large should ships be to best use port infrastructure? Simple questions with complex answers, mainly because of the uncertainty of many interacting moving parts.

BLST is a decision-support simulation tool which incorporates the uncertainty of daily operations into medium and long term decision making.

Whether modeling truck logistics of biomass to find the best suited infrastructure for a hydrogen plant or modelling vessel arrivals to identify port investment requirements, BLST can highlight requirements, issues and costs way before these arise so you are caught prepared.

Flashlight

Businesses are collecting more data in their logistics operations than ever before yet much of these data are stored and rarely used to improve supply chain and logistics decision-making, efficiency and effectiveness.

Flashlight is a robust data explorer dashboard that uses analytics to provide key business insights at a glance. Flashlight goes beyond averages and percentages and creates a genuine picture of the transportation chain and where issues may arise.

Flashlight is the perfect tool for businesses monitoring, coordinating or delivering primarily bulk transport services to improve visibility, operational efficiency and effectiveness.
